Studio
Tools we always needed.
bimover is a small Swiss studio that builds the architectural software we'd want on our own machines.
How it started
An architect, an Archicad, and a stack of grievances.
It started in an Aarau studio, where the same software friction kept showing up week after week.
We built the first tools because nobody else was going to. Now we ship them as bimover.
Every drop solves something we've personally hit a wall on. Laser exists because cutting a footpath into terrain shouldn't take twenty minutes. Origin exists because moving a project's coordinate system three months in shouldn't break every drawing on every layout.
Notice the friction. Build the tool. Ship it. Move on.
How we build
Three rules.
- 01
Less friction. More output.
Every feature earns its place. If it doesn't help on day one, it doesn't make it in.
- 02
Cut corners on purpose, not by accident.
The shortcut should be a deliberate tool — not a trap waiting to spring later.
- 03
Tools we'd actually use.
We're architects too. We build for the parts of our day we live inside.
Made in Aarau. Built for wherever you draw.
